Curious about the 2022 OPC Mystery Deck? We break down what's inside, its collectible appeal, and whether it's worth the price for your collection.
Quick Answer
The 2022 OPC Mystery Deck is a limited surprise pack from Organic Playing Cards, containing one of several possible decks from that year. With only 100 units available, it's a collectible gamble that rewards fans of the brand.
Why Mystery Decks Are a Collector's Gamble
Mystery decks trade certainty for surprise. You pay a set price, but the deck inside could be a common release or a rare gem. For collectors, the thrill is part of the value, but it also means you might get a deck you already own.
The 2022 OPC Mystery Deck leans into nostalgia, with packaging that recalls the year's releases. This makes it as much a memory piece as a playing card purchase.
Limited Availability and Its Impact
Only 100 mystery decks were made available in this run. Scarcity like that can drive demand among collectors, but it also means the window to buy is short and once they're gone, they're gone.
If you're on the fence, the limited count is worth weighing: a miss now might mean paying more later on the secondary market.
