血脈翡翠

The illustrations on each court card are genuinely charming, and the deck fans out smoothly right out of the box. Gregory Darroll's style gives every suit its own little personality without making the pips hard to read during a game.

The illustration style here is genuinely fun without feeling childish, and the Emerald tuck box looks great sitting on my shelf. Shuffles smooth right out of the box too, which I wasn't expecting from a deck this pretty.

The court cards in this deck have so much personality, each face feels like a tiny character portrait rather than the usual stiff royalty. Darroll's fun illustration style carries through every suit, and the stock fans nicely right out of the box. Easily my favorite pickup this year.
